eShop by Rich Pedley
This is my favourite eCommerce plugin. there’s several alternative for eCommerce, JigoShop, WooCommerce, Easy Digital Download. But i use eShop because it’s easier to use, and i’m used to it. Using it for some client site, and they love it.
in this site i only use eShop for digital product, so the setup is even simpler. I set it so user can register automatically on check out. The only problem is after they redirected to paypal, if they cancel, the user still registered, so i need to manually change user role for each registered member after they finalize the payment on paypal. It’s fine, i guess, cause eShop also provide download link for buyer and get genbu theme instantly after the payment.

i always use this plugin when ever i need multi user site. This is the best user plugin i try, and i try a lot (almost all in WordPress repo). I create one new role for Genbu Theme member and manually change the user role so they can download themes and plugins.

i love this plugin. so powerful. all Theme, Plugin and Other download is handled by this plugin. I just need to add custom field “req-role” so only member with that role can download. You can also assign category to each download.i use shortcode provided by this plugin to query all files in that category. i use it for changelog tab in each theme and plugin page.

this is the first time i use this plugin. awesome. you can create your own Newsletter template and send to all member. Member can also unsubscribe, if they want to. A complete build in Newsletter system in your own site.

this is the best Forum Plugin, this is the first time i use this plugin. i use Simple-Press before and move all forum topic to bbPress. the best part using this plugin is that the template system (well, the entire system) is WordPress, it’s easier for me to modify template. Some might say the plugin is not mature enough, maybe it’s true, but it’s the best plugin so far.
